This new building was built at 2 Greenmarket on a piece of unused land. Staff moved into their new premises in December 2024 from their Ward Road offices that they have used since 1976.

The site before work commenced – 18th of April 2022
Heavy machinery prepares the site – 23rd April 2022
A temporary ramp was built – 28th April 2022
Wooden hoarding blocked the view from street level but the multi-storey car park across the road gave great views – 26th May 2022
A “giant corkscrew” was used for the foundations a much quieter option than traditional piling – 26th May 2022

The foundations of the central core – 17th August 2022

The central core was made by Stephenson RC Frames – 20th September 2022
The tower was made in sections and the frame was moved upwards for each section – 29th September 2022

Many bags of soil were lifted onto the roof – 28th November 2023
Work has begun on the fit out of the interior – 27th June 2024
